DRM-PLSTK-PUL
DRM-PLSTK-PUL (Plastic Backing Washer) is a complementary plastic fastening component used in tufting and tension band applications. Designed to work together with the plastic pins of single-sided and double-sided tension bands, it securely supports the pin inside the foam while helping prevent damage to the upholstery materials.
Leaving plastic tension-band pins directly embedded in the foam may create risks such as tearing, deformation and reduced long-term durability. DRM-PLSTK-PUL acts as a backing support behind the tension band pin, distributing the load over a wider surface area, increasing fastening strength and reducing the risk of foam tearing. It also contributes to improved product safety and occupational health and safety (OHS) compliance during furniture manufacturing.
DRM-PLSTK-PUL is widely used in sofas, armchairs, upholstered headboards and other tufted furniture applications where secure, durable and professional upholstery assembly is required.
