DRM-BL-90 (4-Position Adjustable Headrest Mechanism)
DRM-BL-90 (4-Position Adjustable Headrest Mechanism) is a professional adjustment mechanism developed for adjustable headrests used in sofas, lounge furniture and upholstered seating systems. The mechanism moves smoothly from a 90° starting position to a fully extended 180° resting position, providing ergonomic head support and enhanced seating comfort.
Its 4-position indexed ratchet system advances in 22.5-degree increments, allowing users to select the most comfortable headrest angle. On the fifth movement, the locking mechanism automatically releases into the free position, returning the headrest smoothly to its original 90° starting position. This operating principle provides simple adjustment and reliable long-term performance.
The distinctive feature of the DRM-BL-90 is its visible connecting element. Unlike conventional headrest mechanisms that use a round steel rod, this model features a flat steel bar, creating a cleaner appearance while complementing contemporary furniture designs. It is available in matte black and nickel-plated finishes.
Due to its structural design, the DRM-BL-90 is recommended exclusively for headrest applications and is not intended for use in armrests.
